The town is home to the longest beach in the Spanish Basque Country and also to famous waves that attract surfers from all over the world. Apart from the beach and the surf culture, the other main attraction of Zarautz is probably its food scene.

Enjoy art and culture
The Chillida-Leku Museum is a large area of gardens and forests with a restyled traditional farmhouse, where the sculptor Eduardo Chillida Juantegui have spread out a large exhibition of his works. Located in the vicinity of Hernani, it’s 15 minutes by car from San Sebastian.
Defined as “the best building of the second half of the 20th century”, the Guggenheim Museum has completely and radically transformed the image of the city of Bilbao, and provide her a place in the world.
TOPIC: THE PUPPETS MUSEUM
In the historic downtown of Tolosa, TOPIC is the only centre in Europe integrally dedicated to the art of puppetry. In the House of the Puppets you will have the opportunity to meet marionettes from all over the world and learn, perform, share experience about this ancient art.

HIGH OF ERNIO
We are proud to be at the foothills of this wonderful mountain, in which stands out by themselves, the numerous pilgrimages of September.
THE ARTIKUTZA FOREST
This protected forest full of beech trees, exudes a stillness worthy of knowing during a break at any time of the year.
We are near several paths which to reach this green sky that are the fields of Urbia. A place crowned by some of the most representative peaks of Gipuzcoa.
THE ROUTE OF THE THREE TEMPLES
30 mn by car
This route crosses beautiful surroundings and places of the regions of Urola Erdia, Urola Garaia and Debagoiena linking three of its most significant monuments; the Sanctuary of Loyola, in Azpeitia, the Hermitage of Antigua, in Zumarraga and the Sanctuary of Aranzazu, in Oñati.
SOURCE OF THE UREDERRA
Listed as natural reserve since 1987, the source of the Urederra River is one of Navarre’s most spectacular enclaves. An unspoiled natural paradise that you cannot miss.
Mount Txindoki, located in the region of Goierri, offer one of the best panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. It is the best known and most climbed of the Sierra of Aralar, and more than likely, of Gipuzkoa. Definitely it’s one of the most beautiful and renowned mountains of Basque Country.

The Tolosa market has been held every Saturday for centuries, and is one of the best known in the Basque Country. It occupies three outdoor stages, which transforms the center of the town every Saturday into a great fair.
The traditional fair in Ordizia every Wednesday is a meeting place for buyers and sellers of agricultural and livestock products from the area. There you will find numerous stalls of all kinds: Idiazabal cheese, fruit, vegetables and endless top-quality fresh products.
AHETZE FLEA MARKET
Since 1993, every third Sunday of the month, a renowned flea market is held in the village of Ahetze, located in the French side of Basque Country, attracting antique lovers come from both sides of the border.
